What is the Twilio Connector?
The Twilio connector supports contact center-like applications on the CXF platform for voice and SMS / MMS contacts.
The Twilio CPaaS service can trigger a CXF flow in response to inbound voice calls and SMS / MMS messages. Under the direction of the flow, the Twilio connector creates a response to Twilio that instructs Twilio to speak a response to the caller, render audio or images to the caller, collect a next input, transfer a call or SMS, or terminate a call.
Advanced call and SMS transfer options are available with the Twilio connector. Of particular interest are CXF flows that integrate with a variety of AI services to interact with the caller via Twilio.
