Implementation considerations
  • Supported scope: Look up Square booking locations, read a bounded page of bookings and retrieve a selected booking.
  • Use a Square bearer access token authorized for the required locations and bookings. Select https://connect.squareup.com for production or https://connect.squareupsandbox.com for sandbox. Set the Square-Version date explicitly to the API version tested by your application.
  • Read-only bookings and location references. No appointment creation, availability search, rescheduling, cancellation, customer creation or payments. One page of at most 100 bookings per action; map a returned cursor into the next invocation. Each HTTP action uses a 1–8 second request budget, a 128 KiB request-body limit and a 1 MiB raw JSON response limit. Redirects, automatic paging and automatic retries are disabled. Responses exceeding these bounds fail rather than being truncated. Configure only trusted HTTPS service origins and map connection settings from flow properties.
  • New independent connector registration. Existing legacy flows require deliberate action and credential remapping. Hosted import and live service validation remain pending.
