Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.2.0.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

Verify connection

Connect with verified implicit TLS and AUTH PLAIN without sending a message or verifying sender authorization.

Send plain-text email

Submit one email to one recipient; checked SMTP acceptance does not prove inbox delivery.

Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Connection verification: Check implicit TLS, greeting and AUTH PLAIN without submitting an email.
  • One-recipient text email: Submit a bounded plain-text message and report the server acknowledgment.
  • Uncertain submission handling: Report lost or failed DATA acknowledgment as outcome_unknown without automatic replay.
  • Invoke actions from a flow; no inbound email or delivery webhook trigger is included.
  • Use managed username/password credentials with AUTH PLAIN over verified implicit TLS, normally port 465. STARTTLS and OAuth-only SMTP servers are outside this package.
  • A final SMTP 250 means server acceptance, not inbox delivery. Sending supports one plain address per message, without attachments, HTML, CC/BCC or delivery tracking.
  • A shared deadline, response limits and socket cleanup bound the operation. Confirm dependency and native TLS support in the target executor before live use.
