Connector library

Implemented source Voice, SMS & Messaging

Genesys Cloud Analytics connector.

Search and retrieve Genesys Cloud conversation analytics, submit historical detail exports, check job status and data availability, and retrieve paginated export records.

Connector download

Download Genesys Cloud Analytics

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.1.0.1. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

Search Conversations

Retrieve one bounded page of conversation details with explicit time, media, queue, agent and division filters.

Get Conversation

Retrieve a conversation by UUID; HTTP 404 returns found false. This endpoint omits participant attributes.

Start Conversation Export

Check data availability, then submit an asynchronous historical detail job. Acceptance is not a completed export.

Get Export Status

Read one job state. Pending is not ready; failed, cancelled or expired jobs return errors.

Get Export Results

Check job readiness, then retrieve one cursor page with source participants, sessions, segments, metrics and available attributes.

Get Export Data Availability

Retrieve the timestamp through which historical export data is guaranteed available.

Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Conversation lookup: Search by interval, media, queue, agent and division, or retrieve details for a selected conversation.
  • Historical collection: Check the export data watermark, submit a historical detail job, check its state and retrieve cursor pages.
  • Source records: Preserve available participant/session/segment data, relationships, metrics and export participant attributes for downstream reporting.
  • Select a CXFabric Basic Auth credential containing an OAuth Client ID as username and client secret as password. Each invocation exchanges these internally for a bearer token, which is never returned. Assign analytics:conversationDetail:view in the intended divisions. Map a supported bare Region Domain from trusted flow configuration.
  • Six actions retrieve one page or one job state at a time. Time windows are limited here to seven days; search is capped at 10,000 rows and export pages at 100 records. Start Export refuses an end time beyond the historical availability watermark. Pending results return ready false and no conversations property; failed, cancelled or expired jobs return errors. Coordinate waits, paging and checkpoints in your flow.
  • Synchronous detail endpoints omit participant attributes; historical job records can include them. Filters select whole conversations, not redacted legs. Keep organization identity, conversation/session/participant identifiers, relationships, timestamps, optional fields and raw records; reconcile overlaps and revisions externally. No universal CDR transformation or end-to-end metric calculation is included.
  • OAuth and API calls share one 1–8 second action budget. Authentication adds one request per invocation, with no token cache. Responses are bounded to 2 MiB for analytics and 16 KiB for OAuth. No automatic retries, redirects, polling or unbounded pagination. Reconcile uncertain job submissions before repeating them. No recordings, transcripts, agent state changes, live call control or event listener is included.
  • New independent Genesys Cloud Analytics registration with a persistent component ID and UUID. No existing connector identities or mappings are replaced. Local contract/package checks passed; CXFabric import and live Genesys testing remain pending.
