Connector library

Implemented source Voice, SMS & Messaging

FreeSWITCH Media connector.

Manage bounded PCM WAV assets, verify stopped recording files and retrieve recordings in checksummed chunks through the companion HTTPS controller.

Connector download

Download FreeSWITCH Media

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Requires a separately deployed controller. Download controller source and setup instructions after signing in. Import only the connector ZIP into your tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.1.0.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

List Audio Assets

List configured assets and uploaded assets owned by this credential. No filesystem paths are exposed.

Create Audio Asset

Create an immutable PCM WAV asset, up to 256 KiB, using a retained Request ID. Requires confirmation.

Get Audio Asset Metadata

Read WAV format, size, duration and SHA-256 for a configured or owned uploaded asset.

Get Recording Metadata

Verify an owned, stopped recording after the call ends; return file metadata, checksum and evidence limits.

Read Recording Chunk

Read up to 48 KiB of an owned recording with its expected SHA-256. Caller controls continuation and assembly.

Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • List Audio Assets: List configured assets and uploaded assets owned by this credential. No filesystem paths are exposed.
  • Create Audio Asset: Create an immutable PCM WAV asset, up to 256 KiB, using a retained Request ID. Requires confirmation.
  • Get Audio Asset Metadata: Read WAV format, size, duration and SHA-256 for a configured or owned uploaded asset.
  • Get Recording Metadata: Verify an owned, stopped recording after the call ends; return file metadata, checksum and evidence limits.
  • Read Recording Chunk: Read up to 48 KiB of an owned recording with its expected SHA-256. Caller controls continuation and assembly.
  • Deploy CXFabric FreeSWITCH Controller 0.2.0 before using these APIs. Download its separate source archive and setup/lab guide from this connector’s download page. No hosted endpoint, carrier account, infrastructure or model weights are provided.
  • Use a controller-issued Bearer Token credential and trusted Controller URL from Flow Properties. Use the same credential across related call, media, transcription and evaluation actions. Requests are bounded to 1–8 seconds; asynchronous processing is retrieved in later steps without internal polling or retries.
  • Uploads are immutable PCM WAV, up to 256 KiB, with a stable Request ID and explicit confirmation. Recordings must be stopped after a terminal owned call, at most 32 MiB/900 seconds. Read chunks up to 48 KiB using the current checksum; decode before assembling and verify the final SHA-256. File verification does not prove audio quality or speaker attribution.
  • Media APIs run in the base Node 24 controller; a Python/model runtime is not required for audio asset or recording access. Recognition and transcript assertions use separate focused connectors.
  • Local package and native HTTPS/SQLite integration checks use synthetic switch/model evidence. Hosted CXFabric import, live FreeSWITCH/carrier audio, recording-channel attribution and recognition accuracy have not been qualified.
