Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Confirm whether the customer account exposes booking APIs directly, through partner access, or through tenant-specific API enablement.
  • Keep appointment IDs, customer IDs, location IDs, provider IDs, and service IDs visible in the workflow payload.
  • Use idempotency or duplicate checks before creating appointments from retries, webhooks, or contact center conversations.
  • Calendly supports webhook updates through its open API for scheduled events, canceled events, and routing form submissions.
  • CXFabric booking workflows should validate webhook signatures, handle retries, and avoid duplicate processing by checking event IDs.
