Connector library

Implemented source Data, Storage & Cloud APIs

AWS Lambda connector.

List regional Lambda functions, inspect selected configuration and reserved concurrency, and enqueue an explicitly enabled asynchronous function event through four signed actions.

Connector download

Download AWS Lambda

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.2.0.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

List functions

Retrieve one page of function metadata without environment values.

Get function configuration

Retrieve selected version-specific configuration without environment variables.

Get function concurrency

Retrieve reserved concurrency; absent and zero are different results.

Invoke function asynchronously

Enqueue an Event invocation; acceptance does not confirm function execution.

Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Function lookup: List selected function metadata and retrieve one configuration.
  • Concurrency check: Distinguish zero reserved concurrency from no configured reservation.
  • Asynchronous invocation: Enqueue a JSON event with explicit confirmation and optional version or alias.
  • No function trigger or execution-status monitor is packaged.
  • Select managed AWS credentials; use a local function name and the separate qualifier input.
  • Environment values, code URLs and role details are omitted. Acceptance does not confirm execution; AWS retries and duplicate delivery require idempotent processing.
  • Invoke sends an asynchronous Event request with explicit confirmation. HTTP 202 confirms enqueueing, not completed execution.
  • AWS may retry or redeliver independently. Metadata projection omits environment variables, code URLs and role details.
