Connector library

Implemented source APIs, Messaging & Protocols

AMQP connector.

Read RabbitMQ Management HTTP API queue and exchange metadata through four named GET actions using a managed Basic credential.

Connector download

Download AMQP

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.2.0.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

List queues

Read one native queue page in the selected virtual host.

Read selected metadata and any reported totals for one exact queue.

List exchanges

Read one native exchange page in the selected virtual host.

Get exchange

Read selected declaration metadata for one exact named exchange.

Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Requires the RabbitMQ Management plugin and an approved HTTPS DNS endpoint ending in /api, with an optional TLS port. Root /api only; reverse-proxy path prefixes are not supported. Basic authentication must be enabled, and the managed basicAuth credential needs a management-capable user tag and selected-vhost access.
  • Map the exact unencoded Virtual Host and Queue Name or Exchange Name. The default vhost / is encoded as %2F. List Exchanges preserves the unnamed default exchange with an empty name; Get Exchange supports named exchanges only.
  • Native Page and Page Size select one bounded page, up to 500 rows. The returned page/counts and hasMore describe that response; no automatic paging or stable cross-page snapshot is inferred.
  • Queue declaration flags and optional type/state/totals retain native values. Missing totals remain absent, not zero. Queue arguments, policies, consumer details and message contents are excluded; metadata does not establish broker health.
  • Four fixed GET actions implement metadata only. Native AMQP connections, publishing/consuming, resource mutations, broker administration and OAuth are excluded.
  • Normal TLS trust, a 1 MiB response cap, strict JSON/UTF-8 and a shared 1–8 second request budget apply. Expired or trickling responses are canceled without redirects, proxies or replay. Hosted import, executor dependencies and live broker tests remain untested.
  • Four packaged metadata reads target RabbitMQ's Management HTTPS API using a managed Basic credential. The official API reference and pinned native server tests ground the resource and paging contracts; hosted execution and live broker authentication/permissions remain untested.
