Connector download

Download Amazon SQS

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.2.0.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

List queues

Retrieve one page of queue URLs in the credential region.

Get queue attributes

Retrieve selected operational attributes; approximate counts may lag.

Send message

Send plain text to a queue; acceptance does not confirm consumer processing.

Receive message

Short-poll up to ten messages and temporarily change their visibility.

Delete message

Acknowledge one successfully processed message using its latest receipt handle.

Change message visibility

Change a received message’s visibility lease; 0 makes it available again.

Vendor API

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Queue lookup: List queue URLs and retrieve selected operational attributes.
  • Message processing: Send messages, receive a short-poll batch and acknowledge completed processing.
  • Visibility control: Change a received message's visibility timeout with its latest receipt handle.
  • Receive is an action; scheduling and polling belong to the host flow.
  • Select managed AWS credentials and same-region queue URLs. FIFO send requires explicit group and deduplication identifiers.
  • Empty short polls do not establish queue exhaustion. Message redelivery remains possible, including after delete acceptance.
  • Signed SQS JSON operations use the credential's commercial AWS region. Queue URLs must match that region.
  • Receiving changes visibility. Process successfully before deleting with the latest receipt handle; short-poll emptiness does not prove the queue is drained.
