Implementation considerations
- Sending checks: Read regional sending capability and sender verification metadata.
- Suppression lookup: Check one recipient against the account-level suppression list.
- Simple email: Send UTF-8 text or HTML email to up to ten recipients.
- Actions only; configure delivery, bounce and complaint event destinations separately.
- Select managed AWS credentials. This release does not send attachments, templates, raw MIME or CC/BCC.
- Signing secrets are omitted from lookup results; sending acceptance is separate from final delivery.
- SES v2 requires a verified sender in the selected region. Sandbox restrictions, sending quotas and configuration-set requirements apply.
- Suppression checks cover the account-level list only. Send acceptance does not establish delivery; event destinations must be configured separately.
