Download Amazon Connect

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.1.1.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

Describe contact

Retrieve a contact, including available status, agent, queue, timestamps and recording metadata.

Get contact attributes

Retrieve user-defined contact attributes using the initial contact ID.

List queues

Retrieve one page of queue IDs and names.

List agent statuses

Retrieve one page of status definitions, including their AWS type.

Get live agent state

Retrieve one agent’s live current status, next status and active contact data.

API and access

Implementation considerations
  • Contact lookup: Search historical contact summaries by UTC interval and channel, retrieve associated contacts, and enrich known IDs with contact details and user-defined attributes.
  • Agent visibility: Look up live status, next status and active contacts for a known agent user ID.
  • Availability request: Request an enabled custom non-routable status, then read live state to confirm its effect.
  • Actions only; use a separate flow trigger to invoke these operations.
  • Uses governed AWS credentials and a fixed regional endpoint with signed requests.
  • Temporary credentials require their session token; verify that the target credential form supplies it.
  • Retrieve one page per invocation. Historical search windows are capped at 31 days; preserve page tokens and overlap collection windows. A state-change timeout must be reconciled before replay.
  • Full contact records require external Kinesis Data Streams or Firehose delivery. Amazon Connect Events parses decoded records; persistent collection, checkpoints and deduplication are deployment work.
  • Upgrade the existing Amazon Connect API registration to 0.1.1.0; its component ID and UUID are unchanged. It remains separate from the existing Amazon Connect webhook adapter; do not upload it as an adapter version.
  • The availability action validates an enabled CUSTOM status. AWS may apply it as next status while a contact is active; acceptance does not confirm immediate routing isolation.
  • Import and live AWS execution remain pending. DescribeContact is documented as a preview API subject to change.
