Connector library

Implemented source APIs, Messaging & Protocols

Amazon Connect Events connector.

Parse contact-flow Lambda events or decoded full contact records, preserving source fields and contact relationships for downstream processing.

Connector download

Download Amazon Connect Events

Versioned ZIP for your CXFabric tenant.

Use this connector in a flow

  1. Register the ZIP in your tenant, or add a new version if the connector is already installed.
  2. Create or select a credential if the action requires one.
  3. In a Draft flow, add an available action, choose its version, connect it, and map inputs.
  4. Test the step and flow; review output and failures before activation.

See readme.md in the ZIP for settings and limitations.

Version history

What's new

  1. v0.1.1.0Latest · 2026-10-15 · Implemented source

Adds full contact-record parsing with source metrics, relationships and update timestamps; the existing contact-flow event action remains available.

  2. v0.1.0.0Earlier · 2026-10-05 · Implemented source

Parse an Amazon Connect contact-flow Lambda event into contact identity, channel, attributes and invocation parameters for downstream flow actions. New independent registration; legacy flows require deliberate remapping. Hosted import and live service validation remain pending.

Included in this version

Included actions

Implemented in v0.1.1.0. Use a separate flow trigger; no webhook trigger is included.

Parse contact-flow event

Validate a ContactFlowEvent and return its contact identity and maps.

Parse contact record

Validate one decoded Amazon Connect contact record and preserve its source fields for downstream collection.

Implementation considerations
  • Supported scope: Parse contact-flow Lambda events or decoded full contact records, preserving source fields, contact relationships and update timestamps.
  • Forward an Amazon Connect contact-flow event or decoded contact record through an authenticated bridge into a built-in CXFabric trigger. The connector does not deploy Lambda, register a webhook, consume streams or authenticate incoming requests.
  • One JSON object per invocation, up to 128 KiB. Full records require ContactId, InstanceARN, Channel, InitiationTimestamp and LastUpdateTimestamp. Kinesis/Firehose envelopes and base64 decoding are handled by the bridge; oversized records need a retained alternate path.
  • Persist stream checkpoints, raw records and overlap/replay externally. Use instance/contact identity and LastUpdateTimestamp for deduplication and later revisions. The parser itself stores nothing and does not calculate mediation metrics.
  • Uses an independent connector registration, separate from the legacy adapter. Upgrade existing Amazon Connect Events registrations to 0.1.1.0 with the same component ID and UUID; the original contact-flow action and its mappings remain available. Hosted import and live service validation remain pending.
